Smart Environmental Support Services Division are pleased to be recruiting for a Resourcing Consultant to join our team.

The Role

The Resourcing Consultant is responsible for advertising, registering and onboarding candidates for roles within the waste management sector. This includes also central management systems updates, dealing with general candidate enquiries and supporting the team in any associated duties required to help supply a successful flexible workforce to our clients.

This role will see you recruiting for recycling positions within the Grantham area, and is hybrid working with the requirement to be onsite 2-3 times per week

Key Duties

* Pre-screen candidates before their interview for suitability and conduct registrations

* Preparing and delivering specific client inductions and testing

* Completing a search on company’s database to find suitable candidates for the client’s vacancy

* Manage Temp availability to meet client needs

* Spec CVs / Market candidates, Search / Shortlist CVs in line with job order request, Ensure CVs are of a specific standard and reflective of client requests

* Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the client

* Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits on the job in question

* Check daily PPE and uniform is distributed correctly to staff, ensuring all staff are aware and follow safe working procedures without fail

* Ensure that Smart and clients induction requirements are met and ensure that pre-screening of new staff members in adherence with Smart and client Health & Safety working practices

* Co-ordinating staff holidays jointly with the clients staff holiday planner ensuring full coverage

Experience & Qualifications Required

* Previous experience in a recruitment background is essential

* Understanding of waste and recycling collection operations is an advantage

* Must be able to demonstrate problem solving skills

* Excellent level of English, both spoken and written is essential

* Ability to multitask while under pressure

* Holding a valid and clean driving license with own car is an advantage
