As they continue to expand their operations, they’re seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Manager to join their dynamic team and lead the successful delivery of key civil engineering projects across the region.

The Role:

As a Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of multiple civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will be responsible for managing all site activities, providing leadership and direction to the site team, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental management.

Your role will involve close collaboration with clients, project managers, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and that client objectives are met. This is an opportunity to work on high-profile projects that have a lasting impact on infrastructure and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Project Leadership: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with project specifications, budgets, and timelines.

* Team Management: Lead and inspire site teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, to achieve project goals while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

* Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Uphold and enforce all health, safety, and environmental policies on-site, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.

* Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, delivering regular progress reports and ensuring that any concerns are promptly addressed.

* Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality control procedures, ensuring that all work is executed to the highest standards in line with industry best practices.

* Resource Optimization: Efficiently manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure cost-effectiveness and project profitability.

* Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.

Requirements:

* A proven track record as a Site Manager within the civil engineering sector, with experience in managing projects of varying scale and complexity.

* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.

* Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in civil engineering.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.

* A thorough understanding of project management principles, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

* Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work certification are essential.

* A proactive and solutions-oriented approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
