EC & I Design Engineer

As E C & I Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

* Designing and deploying cutting edge EC & I solutions

* Completing EC&I designs to the required standard – on time and budget, and to a high standard

* Creating risk assessments and method statements where necessary

* Liaising with other teams (electrical, mechanical, software, CAD) in respect of interface design

* Attending client meetings for review and updates

* Contribute to project proposals, estimating costs and establishing realistic timelines

* Preparing documents for Formal Safety Assessments and O&M manuals

* Participate in Design Working Groups to enhance design standards

* Stay at the forefront of industry trends

* Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians

Essential skills and experience required:

* Minimum of HNC/HND or equivalent in C & I Engineering or similar discipline

* Knowledge and experience of the design life cycle of a project

* Experience working in structured design engineering environment

* Analytical and problems solving skills, with strong attention to detail

* Working knowledge of ATEX would be beneficial

Own transport required due to office location

Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm

Holidays: 25 days + ban k holidays

Life Insurance – 4 x salary
