Are you an HGV Driver looking for your next role?
We are looking for a permanent Shunter Driver to join our busy production site in Royton, Oldham.
The Shunter Driver will be responsible for ensuring the safe movement of large vehicles and trailers around the site.
The Shunter Driver will work Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm.
About the Role
The role of the Shunter Driver will include, but not be limited to:
Following all Site Safety rules
Completing safety assessments
Safely moving large vehicles, trailers and goods around the site
Liaising with site management to ensure the smooth and timely movement and loading of goods and stock
Inspecting vehicles and trailers
Coupling and uncoupling trailers
Safely parking trailers
Ensuring a handover takes place when passing goods on to colleagues
Support the site with yard work as required including driving a Forklift Truck
Essential Skills
A valid Class 1 HGV licence is essential.
A valid Forklift Truck licence would be advantageous, however full training for driving a FLT can be provided.
