Job Title; CAD Technician

Salary; £30,000 to £38,000 per annum depending upon experience

Shift Pattern; Monday-Friday days

Location; Nuneaton

Our client are a leader in the design, manufacture and supply of commercial glazing products to the construction sector across the UK. They are involved in a vast array of projects including residential accommodation, public buildings and retail premises. They are looking to strengthen their in-house design team by appointing a CAD Technician

The CAD Technician Role;

* Produce CAD designs for curtain-wall systems, commercial glazing and cladding systems.

* Designs to be used as the basis for pricing, scheduling, programming and project management.

* Attend design meetings with external client.

* Liaise with structural engineers.

* Issue RFI schedules.

* Produce design reports.

* Prepare schedule of materials required against the design.

* Work with Contracts, Project and Site managers to ensure production and delivery of design and associated information on time as required.

The CAD Technician Candidate;

* Previous, recent experience in a similar role within glazing, curtain walls, facades etc.

* Proficient in AutoCAD

* Excellent written and verbal communications skills

* IT literate with knowledge of MS Office and in particular Excel

* UK driving licence

The CAD Technician Benefits;

* £30,000 to £38,000 per annum depending upon experience
