X-ray Screener

Our client is a leading global logistics provider, they are looking for an X-Ray Screener, who will be responsible for using an x-ray machine to conduct screening and security checks for prohibited items of cargo to be transported by air.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* X-Ray screening parcels ready for export

* Conduct screening and security checks for prohibited items of cargo to be transported by air, in line with training and CAA regulations

* Recording and escalating any issues or concerns

* Utilise knowledge of airline codes, prefixes, common cargo abbreviations

* Assisting in general warehouse duties.

Skills & Experience

* Cargo Operative Screening

* Ability to multi-task and prioritise and a proactive approach

* Must be physically fit due to Manual Handling.

* Interpersonal skills – Must be able to communicate efficiently.

* Experience using an X-ray machine previously
