Senior Quantity Surveyor - Glasgow - Up to £65k DOE + Car / Car Allowance + Package

First Task Professional are delighted to be working alongside a contractor who have a very healthy pipeline of work due to long term frameworks with Scottish Water.

They have a requirement for a Senior QS to work out of their Glasgow office on a hybrid basis.

The role offers excellent job security and a comprehensive benefits package, if you are an experienced QS / SQS with background in civil / infrastructure projects, look no further.

The Role:

* Prepare and manage project budgets and cost plans.

* Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities associated with projects.

* Assist with procurement and tendering processes.

* Negotiate and manage contracts with clients and subcontractors.

* Prepare and manage project cash flows.

* Provide ongoing cost and financial advice to project teams.

* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quantity surveyors.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

* Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role.

* Strong understanding of contract administration and cost management principles.

* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

* Professional membership with a recognized Quantity Surveying body is an advantage.

* Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card.
