M4 Specialist are recruiting for an Experienced Transport Supervisor for one of our Distribution companies based in Warrington.

Our client supply transport, warehousing, and distribution services to multiple industries with national/regional coverage.

We are seeking a professional and experienced Transport Supervisor to join their transport office. The ideal candidate will have previous working experience within a busy office and knowledge of the general haulage industry would be highly beneficial.

Working hours :

* Monday – Friday 12:00PM-20:00PM

* Must be able to commit to 1 in 3 Saturdays

Transport Supervisor - Position Requirements :

* General administration duties in-line with Transport legislation, company policy and procedures

* To work with, assist, and report to the Transport Management team

* Ensuring good standards of Health and Safety processes are followed by yourself and the team

* Daily execution of the plan, ensuring all deliveries are made on time in full and accurate completion of daily Transport paperwork

* Regular communication with the planning department of any delays / lateness / issues

* Primary point of contact for customer enquiries / changes to schedule, ensuring these are logged accurately

* Collation of information for KPI reporting

* Utilising the Transport Management System

* Managing drivers’ hours, infringements and control of Tachographs

* Liaise with relevant departments / sites to achieve the most effective loading schedule.

* Assist with the management of vehicle defects through the VOR process
