We are seeking a skilled and experienced Wood Foreman to join their talented team.

Job Description:

As a Wood Foreman, you will oversee and manage all aspects of joinery projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. 

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of carpenters and woodworkers.
Interpret and implement project plans, drawings, and specifications.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and clients.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the production process.
Manage inventory, order materials, and maintain equipment.
Train and mentor new and junior staff.
Maintain a clean and organized workshop.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Wood Foreman or in a similar supervisory role in the joinery or woodworking industry.
Level 3 Woodworking qualification or similar
Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and safety guidelines.
Be able to work on cnc machines, edge banders, beam saws, and traditional woodworking machinery.
Be able to work from cad drawings and cutting lists.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Proficiency in using woodworking machinery and tools.
