The Role
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from inception to completion. This includes handling sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. The role requires a deep understanding of the conveyancing process, strong organisational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and other parties involved in the transactions.

Key Responsibilities

* Conducting and managing all phases of residential conveyancing transactions

* Providing legal advice to a diverse client base on all aspects of residential property

* Preparing and reviewing contracts, transfers, mortgages, and leases

* Conducting searches, handling enquiries, managing pre-contract negotiations, and overseeing the exchange of contracts and completion of transactions

* Maintaining regular communication with clients, solicitors, lenders, and other parties to ensure a smooth conveyancing process

* Utilizing case management systems to update and maintain records accurately

Requirements

* Minimum of 1-year PQE in residential conveyancing

* Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and property law

* Excellent organisational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines

* Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to provide clear and concise advice to clients

* Proficiency in using legal case management software and technology to enhance efficiency
