English Teacher Needed in Hughenden Valley

Are you passionate about teaching English and inspiring students to excel in their language skills? Supply Desk is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher for a role in the Hughenden Valley area.

Role: English Teacher

Location: Hughenden Valley

Start Date: September 2024

Responsibilities:

Design and implement engaging English lessons that adhere to curriculum guidelines.
Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports learning for all students.
Use both formative and summative assessments to track student progress and development.
Provide timely and constructive feedback, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement to guide students toward academic success.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Inspire a love for literature by exploring diverse genres and authors.
Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance learning and promote digital literacy.
Set clear behaviour and academic expectations to maintain a positive and respectful classroom culture.
Encourage collaboration and peer interaction through group activities, cooperative learning, and inclusive discussions
To register for supply work, you MUST meet the following criteria:

Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
Hold, or be willing to carry out, an enhanced DBS
Be able to provide professional references to cover you for at least 2 years.
Be a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher with the school’s values at the forefront of what you are doing.
Have good classroom management and ability to engage a diverse range of pupil abilities.
Be flexible and willing to go the extra mile to support pupil progress
Able to commute to Hughenden Valley and the surrounding areas
