About the Role:

Join the team as a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant, where you'll be at the forefront of their operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

馃敼 Processing supplier and customer invoices efficiently

馃敼 Monitoring sales ledger and ensuring timely debtor follow-ups

馃敼 Handling daily department takings processing and banking preparations

馃敼 Resolving invoice and payment queries promptly

馃敼 Conducting statement and monthly bank reconciliations with precision

馃敼 Assisting with monthly payroll processing and contributing to process improvements

馃敼 Managing general administrative tasks and providing insightful reports and analysis as required.

About You:

馃敼 Ideally two years of relevant experience in accounts/bookkeeping

馃敼 Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel is essential

馃敼 Sage50 accounting software experience would be advantageous, but not mandatory

馃敼 Confident to push back on discrepancies on supplier invoices

馃敼 Able to prioritise and manage your own workload.

馃敼 Reactive and able to handle incoming ad-hoc tasks

馃敼 A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new challenges

馃敼 Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under deadlines

馃敼 Meticulous attention to detail and a collaborative team spirit

馃敼 For the right candidate, funding for AAT or equivalent training could be available
