Domestic Housekeeper

Location: Nursing Home, Warrington

Position: Domestic Housekeeper
Hourly Rate: £12.02 per hour
Schedule: At least one 12-hour shift per week (8am-8pm) and flexible shorter shifts (9am-4pm) for the remainder of the week

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Domestic Housekeeper to join our clients team at our nursing home in Warrington. The ideal candidate will be passionate about maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.

* Ensure that all areas of the nursing home are kept clean and tidy.

* Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and distributing residents' clothing and linens.

* Replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and bedding.

* Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of hygiene at all times.

* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

* Assist with deep cleaning tasks as required.

Requirements:

* Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably in a healthcare or residential setting.

* Ability to work at least one 12-hour shift per week (8am-8pm) and flexible shorter shifts (9am-4pm) for the remainder of the week.

* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

* Good communication skills and the ability to interact with residents and staff in a friendly and professional manner.

* Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and bending.

* Understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning and housekeeping.

* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
