Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Apprentice
Triton Showers are looking for a Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Apprentice to assist the Maintenance team on capital projects, maintenance of machinery and building management.
Ensure routine inspections and repairs are carried out to the required standard with compliance to all health and safety regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Responsible for conducting routine inspections and emergency repairs to equipment or building.
* Fault finding and problem solving.
* Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment.
* Maintain emaint (Computerised Maintenance Management System) to schedule and complete maintenance requests.
* Maintain and support site activities.
* Oversee Contractors onsite and ensure all documentation is received before commencement of work.
Personal Qualities:
* Acts with integrity – deliver on promises, inspires trust, builds credibility, and always follows responsible business practices, always prepared to do the right thing
* Able to work quickly and methodically with a compliance driven mindset
* Determined to overcome unexpected obstacles to get to the right solution

* Works well under pressure and engages at all levels of the organisation both internally and externally
Skills Required:
* Problem solving skills and taking the accountability for implementing and delivering results
* Good understanding of Engineering and Manufacturing is desirable but not essential
* Able to produce timely work where required
* Good communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to build good relationships within the Company and externally
* Practical knowledge of machining, assembly, engineering and quality is desirable but not essential
Training to be Provided:
This 4-year programme will include:
• A Technical Certificate (BTEC Diploma Level 3 in Engineering) via North Warwickshire And South Leicestershire College
• In house training in line with your requirements.
The working week will be 37.5 hours based on 8.00 am - 16.45 pm from Monday to Thursday and 8.00 am – 12:30 pm on Fridays.
