They require a Network Service Engineer to ensure their clients at sea have reliable and fast connections. You'll be responsible for servicing, installing, and commissioning a wide range of communication systems onboard vessels, including GMDSS, VSAT, and on-board satellite and radio technologies.

Key Responsibilities for the Network Service Engineer:

Conduct independent site surveys, installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections onboard vessels.
Ensure equipment functionality through pre- & post-installation testing and preparation.
Perform final compliance testing and provide comprehensive technical handover to the customer.
Monitor systems proactively at both primary and secondary levels.
Attend and support product and acceptance trials.
Provide timely, detailed service reports.Key Skills and Experience for the Network Service Engineer:
Essential Experience -

An experienced Service Engineer ideally with an electronics/marine background
Knowledge of the marine industry/environment.
A basic understanding of IP networking is an advantage.Qualifications/Educational attainments:

Completed apprenticeship in Marine and/or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).
Previous experience in Marine and/or Electronics Engineering.
Ability to read technical drawings/wiring diagrams.
