Our client is actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled Commercial Projects Engineer with a mechanical background, or expertise in HVAC and Process Cooling, to step into a crucial role overseeing and executing projects from start to finish.

Showcasing your robust business development skills, you will cultivate and sustain strong relationships with sales, customers, and subcontractors, serving as a reliable point of contact, while also offering guidance based on your project management experience to develop and effectively implement products and service solutions meeting customer demands to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

* Participate in project reviews to finalise designs of new orders and attending project handovers with customers to confirm scope and timeline requirements

* Develop detailed project plans and troubleshoot technical engineering issues

* Exercise financial control, including budgeting and cost management

* Oversee procurement and coordination of equipment and subcontracted work

* Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

* Maintain flexibility and adaptability in high-volume, fast-paced project environments while ensuring continuous customer communication

* Attend site visits to provide guidance and cost estimates for installation projects

* Ensure compliance with contract agreements and maintain health and safety standards

Key Requirements:

* Intermediate-level experience in commercial Project Management with ideally a background in Engineering

* Knowledge of manufacturing industry advantageous

* Able to use Microsoft Office Suite and Computer-Aided Design (CAD)

* Knowledge of Microsoft planner or power automate and SAP advantageous

* Willingness to travel nationally and an able to travel internationally when required

* UK drivers’ licence
