As a Design Engineer, you will need the following:

2 years' experience as a Design Engineer
Mechanical Engineering background
A sound understanding of mechanical engineering, with good knowledge of machined parts, fabricated assemblies
The ability to quickly and effectively create part and assembly drawings in accordance with BS8888 for internal and external
The ability to prioritise workload
Excellent working knowledge of Solidworks 3D CAD or similar
Able to produce effective, detailed manufacturing information on time
Working knowledge of Machinery Standards and relevant legislation
Able to work as part of a small team
Excellent communication skillsAs a Design Engineer, your duties will include:

Creation of detailed drawings of custom parts
Source supplier quotes for custom made parts, within timescale and budget
Procurement of custom made and project specific parts, within timescale and budget
Creation of BOMs for special products
Creation of assembly drawings / work instructions for manufactureBenefits:
