Undertaking audits of case work completed by Outreach Family Support Workers and Early Help Social Workers to support practice development.
The audits will focus on the child's 'lived experience' as well as quality and impact of practice to promote practice improvement across the service.
Collate thematic findings in audit reports to be shared across the service.
Provide counselling services to children aged 8-18 years.
Help support their emotional wellbeing in relation to childhood trauma.
Early Help has a new project with a high school to provide counselling services to students who are struggling in mainstream classes.
Hold a caseload of 10 children.
Complete a therapeutic assessment.
Deliver 14 sessions of 1:1 therapeutically informed support to the child/young person. Requirements:
Social Work Degree or equivalent
Social Work England registered
Enhanced DBS
Counselling qualification with either adults or children or specific training in a therapeutic model (eg CBT/person centered counselling etc).Experience:
