TIG Welder

Elevation Recruitments Skilled Shop Floor Team are proud to be working in partnership with a leading manufacturing business based in Sheffield. We are currently recruiting for a TIG Welder on a permanent basis. 

TIG welder
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week
Flexibility to work the following:
8am - 4.30pm
6am - 2.30pm 
9am - 6.30pm 

You will be expected to work 8am - 4.30pm whilst training. 

Rate:

£14.00 - £17.00 per hour

Overtime available following probation period. 

Overview of the role of the TIG welder:

Read and understand technical design drawing specification.
Product assembly to drawings specification.
Regularly maintain and clean welding equipment (machines and tools) to ensure their optimal functionality and prevent malfunctions
Safe use of weld & power / hand equipment 
Ability to consistently weld and fabricate
Coded welder – Adherence to all HSE Hot Work Safety Systems
Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the welding process, such as equipment malfunctions or defects in the welded materials.
Maintain records 
Perform welding operations using various processes
Prepare metal components, ensuring they are properly aligned and set up for the welding process.
Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 years  TIG Weld Experience
