MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Laboratory Supervisor to join a busy quality team at a plastics reprocessing facility in Avonmouth. Our client is a leading business within the Energy and Waste management industry, with a long-term goal of establishing sustainability and environmental efficiency.

This role will require work on 4 on 4 off shift pattern including nights.   

As the Laboratory Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

Overseeing a team of Lab Technicians and issuing their daily tasks
Speaking with Senior Management/stakeholders to give updates  
Undertaking sampling and analysis of plastics and polymers samples
Taking water and effluent samples and carry out reporting
Undergoing training to learn and use different laboratory analysis techniques
Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:

Proven experience in a laboratory/testing role
Previous experience in an industrial or production environment is advantageous but not essential
Experience using GC techniques is preferred
The ability to work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern
A full UK driving licence
