The Role of the Miller Setter
Online Program, set up and operate 3 and 4 axis (X Y Z & A) milling machines to produce high-quality components to precise specifications.
Understand technical drawings to ensure accurate production. Drawings are simplified and produced in-house for ease of set-up.
Set-up job as per internal setting sheet for each job.
Monitor production processes to ensure that they meet quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and production processes
Strong knowledge of CNC programming using FANUC controls
Mechanical set up and operation of a CNC vertical & horizontal milling machine for small batch runs.
Measurement of machined parts and adjustment of offsets to ensure the accuracy of the finished components
