Quantity Surveyor

Opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work for a leading Main Contractor based in the heart of London. This is an exciting new role due to additional workload with new projects secured and started on site.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor

As Quantity Surveyor be to work within commercial team on being site based on either Commercial, Mixed use, hotels, or education schemes under JCT form of contract typically 2 stages ranging in value from £40 Million - £100 Million. Initially working as part of the PCSA or 2 stage, with a plan to work site based delivering the scheme within the next 3 months reporting to a Commercial Manager. With the majority of their projects across Zones 1 and 2 London. You will be responsible for but not limited to; managing packages from procurement through to final accounting Working with the team to ensure subcontractors are managed on site, CVRs, review drawings, work collaboratively with the internal team and clients.

Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor

Working from PCSA/2 Stage tender process, to delivering the site and working through to completion and final accounts
Procurement across all sub-contracting accounts
Pricing, and managing change and variations.
site meetings and negotiations with client

Requirements for Quantity Surveyor

5 Years experience within Construction Quantity Surveying position with a Main Contractor
Good Communication skills
Quantity Surveyor degree or working towards
Ability to build strong relationships.
