About the role: Are you passionate about supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team in Islington. This full-time, long-term role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of primary school children, particularly in Key Stages 1 and 2. Starting in early September 2024, you will play a key role in creating a nurturing and inspiring learning environment where every child can thrive.

Application Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with SEMH needs is preferred.
• A passion for supporting diverse learners and promoting inclusive education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with SEMH needs in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Implement individualised learning plans and strategies to assist with emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and track progress, providing feedback and support to both students and their families.
