You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the emotional and mental wellbeing of our learners, using your skills and expertise to deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialised psychological assessments using a variety of methods (e.g., psychometric and neuropsychological assessments, structured interviews, and direct/indirect observations).
Deliver tailored psychological therapy based on evidence-based practice, adapting therapy plans as needed to ensure progress.
Offer advice and consultation to multi-disciplinary colleagues on clinical matters.
Work independently within the British Psychological Society Code of Conduct, Ethical Principles & Guidelines 2004 and HCPC registration policies.
Take full professional responsibility for the quality and outcomes of your clinical practice.
Contribute to the development and improvement of local team policies and service quality.
Support and supervise other professionals and trainees, offering training and guidance as required.
Utilise your research skills to contribute to audits, policy development, and service improvement initiatives.Essential:

Doctorate in Clinical or Educational Psychology, or Professional Registration in a relevant health profession (e.g., Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy) with additional training in psychological therapy.
Desirable:
Experience working within an educational setting or with young adults.
Expertise in delivering psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions to a complex client group.
Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage highly sensitive situations and communicate complex information persuasively.
