A well-established design consultancy is seeking to recruit a graduate mechanical engineer to join their team to assist with the development of their products. Working with some of the biggest names within their industries, this consultancy is looking for someone who is self-driven, tenacious and has a can-do attitude.

As a graduate mechanical engineer will you be responsible for:

Working with the wider mechanical engineering team, work on a variety of projects within the medical device sector.
Focusing on the front end and back end development of the product you will be required to think on their feet coming to practical solutions.
Using your mechanical engineering background, you will become an asset to the team working in the model and wood shops you will be hands on.
Work with external clients and listening to their needs, and meeting them with precision in a timely manner, exceeding the client's expectations.To be successful in this role you will have:

Qualified to degree level in either PhD, MSc, MA, MEng, BEng or BSc in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 2:1 at BEng or BSc.
Knowledge of CNC, CAD packages etc. The package is dictated by the customer. However, if you have gaps in knowledge the client is willing to up skill you to bring you up to speed.Benefits with the role:

28 days holiday + bank holidays. There is an incremental of 1 day increase per year after 2 year's service has been completed.
Medical insurance after 3 years.
5% bonus paid out twice yearly dependant on the company performance.
10% bonus paid out yearly. This has been operating for 21 years and has been paid out each year
