Vision for Education are recruiting for and Music Teacher for a secondary school based in Blackpool to start November 2024.

The role

This role is to cover a resignation and will initially begin as a temporary role from November 2024 but with the potential to go permanent with the school from January. 

The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK and experience of teaching Music at KS3 and KS4 level.

You will be working in a small but supportive department and be able to work on your own initiative.  The school are happy to consider both experienced and outstanding NQT applications.

This is a 'Good' school in Blackpool which has high standards and targets for its students to strive for. It expects the best provision for the children under its care and is led by an experienced Senior team who support their staff in all aspects of the job. The School offers excellent CPD and also provides a range of opportunities for progression within the role and the School.

Requirements

To be considered for the Music Teacher role you must:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
Be adaptable and flexible
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
