Our client in the Wednesbury area is looking for an experienced Demand Planner to join their vibrant team due to continued business growth.

Hours of work - Monday to Friday 09:00am to 17:00pm (37.5hrs per week)

Role & Responsibilities:

Analyse and monitor sales forecasts by customer and product, bridging sales and purchasing.
Identify discrepancies between actual and planned demand, adjusting forecasts and supply chain plans to optimise inventory.
Plan inventory levels and initiate purchase orders with suppliers to maintain adequate stock.
Collaborate with logistics, suppliers, and shipping agents to ensure timely delivery of purchase orders.
Aid warehouse and sales teams in achieving 100% order fulfilment while minimising excess inventory.
Identify surplus inventory and collaborate with sales to develop sales plans.
Notify sales, procurement, and inventory teams of potential stock shortages and excess inventory.
Manage regular communication with stock control and visit the warehouse as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:

3+ years of Supply and Demand experience, including forecasting and supplier scheduling.
(Essential) Experience working within the FMCG sector.
Familiarity with sales and operations planning.
Proficient in MS packages with clear communication skills.
Excel expertise, including pivot tables, VLookup & Macro's.
Strong time management and task prioritization abilities.
Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills.
