This new concept has been developed by a highly successful recruiter and top biller, turned trainer and coach, who is determined to change the career path of rookies coming into recruitment, equipping them with the baseline skills they need and deserve. There is an ongoing problem with staff turnover in recruitment at the moment, where trainees are hired but then given little support, guidance and time to grow; basically setting them up to fail. Being a part of our Academy will instead set you up for success by matching you with fantastic organisations and taking you through recruitment specific training before you’ve even started your job
What makes the organisations we partner with fantastic is their fully inclusive, tech enabled environments, plus the fact that it’s OK to show up every day as your true authentic self. Creativity and critical thinking are welcomed and you’ll be valued as a person and not just seen as a number.
What you can expect from us:
From the moment you join the Academy, you’ll be given 1-2-1 support and guidance in getting your first job as a recruitment consultant. We’ll take the time to understand what you’re looking for and make sure you are given the best chance possible with your applications and interviews.
Once we match you with the right agency, we’ll put you through the relevant training courses so you can develop your skills and knowledge in recruitment in a safe and supportive environment. We want to make sure you can settle into your new role as soon as possible, with the best chance possible for success.
What to expect in your first 6 months as a recruiter:
* Speaking on the phone to people looking for jobs, building relationships with them and figuring out what makes those people brilliant.
* Talking to your clients about those people and why they’re so great.
* Speaking to clients you don’t work with yet, on the phone and/or in virtual and face-to-face meetings, to understand what they’re looking for and to build new relationships.
* When a client gives you a vacancy to work on, finding the right person for it.
* Using social media platforms to build a personal brand for yourself, helping people understand who you are and what you do.
* Using the agency's database to store and log important information from your conversations with clients and job seekers.
* Helping job seekers prepare for any interviews they have.
* Helping your colleagues with their clients job vacancies, finding the right job seeker for them based on what the client is looking for.
