About the role – History Teacher

I am currently working with this mainstream secondary school in Havering who are looking for a qualified History teacher to join their Humanities department starting in September. The school offer a tailored programme of professional development, where specific support and training is available for the successful History teacher. The ideal candidate will have some experience teaching both GCSE and A Level History. The successful candidate will be working within the Humanities faculty and will be expected, at Key Stage 3, to deliver History, Geography and combined Humanities lessons.

About the school – History Teacher

This good, mixed mainstream secondary school based in Havering cater to students aged 11 to 18 with a total of 941 students on site. The school itself opened up back in 2016 with a strong emphasis on parental support where parents, students and staff work collaboratively to aid progression. With their last Ofsted inspection graded Good back in May 2019 they were able to create an enjoyable, warm, friendly environment for students/staff to work and develop in.
