Summary:
My client is expanding their team and is recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer / HVAC Technician to perform Reactive Maintenance and Remedial Works on Mechanical Services, HVAC Services, and associated systems at the prestigious Wembley.
Working Hours:
* 40 hours per week
* Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
* Overtime available
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform repairs to HVAC Plant and associated systems to a high standard.
* Install, alter, and repair pipework systems as needed.
* Repair pumps within the workshop, including replacing Mechanical Seals and other common causes of pump failure.
* Understand BMS and Control Systems associated with Mechanical Plant and Equipment to assist fault diagnosis and correct setup.
* Promptly respond to all Helpdesk related reactive maintenance issues, including heating and ventilation systems, pumps, water tanks, valves, and pipework.
* Adhere to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
* Maintain accurate records/documentation associated with the mechanical aspects of the plant.
* Assist other trades as required.
* Support Event Day delivery.
Qualifications:
* NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in Plumbing, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning 6187 or similar.
* City & Guilds 2079 F Gas Regulations (Desirable).
* 3-5 years of experience in a similar field.
* Experience in the electrical and mechanical aspects of general building service, repair, and installation.
* Exceptional knowledge and experience working with and repairing Mechanical Systems and Heating and Ventilation Systems.
* Knowledge of electrical principles including safe isolation, controls, and basic fault finding.
* Experience with Trend BMS.
* Authorised Person – Mechanical (Desirable).
