Full Time Gardener
Full time experienced Gardener required for a large private country estate located close to Swaffham, Norfolk.
We are looking for someone, enthusiastic and hardworking to join the established team maintaining this 26 acre garden to the highest standard.
Gardener duties:
The duties would also extend to assisting other work in and around the Hall and generally on the Estate. A real team player with a really good work ethic.
* Lawn care using large ride on mowers, strimmers, sprayers etc.
* Basic garden machinery maintenance.
* Excellent horticultural knowledge to maintain herbaceous borders, cutting garden, vegetables, greenhouses, fruit cages and formal hedges.
What you'll need:
* The ideal person will have horticultural qualifications with excellent plant knowledge.
* An NVQ level 2 in Horticulture and a chainsaw certificate would be useful.
* Must be happy working in all weathers and understand what the seasons mean to the garden.
Clean driving licence essential and fully checkable references will be requested.
