Working on a Residential Scheme

Based in Clapham

Position good to knows

* Required for a long-term residential construction project

* Project requires a strong Site Manager with good eye for a build plan

* Position will oversee the external cladding packages on phase 2 and phase 3 of the project

* Will be required on site managing the external cladding contractor

* Project will run until summer 2025

* Project consists of 2 residential tower blocks

* Looking for a Site Manager who can stamp their authority and lead the cladding packages

* Experience of externals would be an advantage

* Ability to manage all trades and stick to project plan and delivery

Headline of the Site Manager role

* Opportunity to be number one on site working closing with the project team

* Main scope of the project would be so oversee the lead subcontractor on the install cladding

* Candidate must be strong organiser

* Level of candidate would be a site manager but someone able to lead on externals

* Must be able to drive the project plan and meet handover targets

* Must be strong on health and safety

* Keen to speak candidates who can bring experience of residential projects

Your key duties as Site Manager

* Ensuring quality working towards quality standards

* Co-ordinate labour and trades

* Monitor and support the site build programme and control material levels

* Work with and assist a supportive team, but on a day today basis you will be the sole main person on the project

Key experiences you should have as Site Manager

* Solid work history of delivering construction projects

* Be a great communicator with the ability to support your site team

* Developing knowledge of the housebuilding and modular construction process

* Ideally be from a trade background or have developed skills from activity being on live projects

Key must have’s you should have as the successful Site Manager

• SMSTS

• CSCS

• First Aid At Work Certificate
