Our client is a leading processor and recycler of WEEE waste, promoting sustainable solutions for the recycling of electronic waste. Due to continued growth and success, they are seeking a dynamic General Manager to join their team in the South of England.

Role Overview:

The General Manager for Recycling Operations is a diverse role, encompassing a range of operational and management responsibilities across four sites. You will oversee plant supervisors and operators, managing production and ensuring health and safety standards. Additionally, you'll collaborate with maintenance teams to identify and resolve faults, ensuring smooth site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee operational management across four sites.

* Lead and support plant supervisors and operators from production to health and safety.

* Work with maintenance teams to identify and resolve operational issues.

* Focus on internal operations reporting and performance tracking.

* Set KPIs and drive plant development.

* Manage P&L responsibilities, including forecasting workloads and budget planning.

Role Requirements:

* Experienced senior operations manager in sectors such as waste/recycling, aggregates, environmental, or engineering.

* Skilled at managing large workforces across multiple sites and teams, including logistics, compliance, and operations.

* Effective problem solver with a proactive approach to resolving issues and developing systems for future prevention.

* Experienced in workload reporting, performance tracking, P&L management, internal financial reporting, and staffing.

* Excellent communicator capable of liaising with stakeholders, internal audiences, and other senior leaders.
