Working closely with a Client I am looking to appoint an FC for their site based in Runcorn on a part time basis. This will need to be c25 hours per week

This is a newly incorporated role where the successful Candidate will create structure within the Finance function as well as business partner with the Plant Director

The ideal Candidate must be Qualified or QBE and have previous manufacturing experience - this is essential.

Duties of the FC will include:

- Assisting with the completion of monthly accounts,
o Reconciliation of sales
o Labour cost
o Fixed Assets
o Debtors calculations - Sales reserves, self-billing, bad debt reserve, debit note reserve
o Creditor calculations - Query invoice, GRNI and statement reserves
o Payroll postings
o Bank
o Exchange Movements
o Any other relevant journals
- Maintain credit cards, foreign currency expenses and UK expenses
- Control the company credit card system - statements, maintain approval of receipts and post to ledger
- Help with contract costing system to ensure tooling revenue and margin is accurate in the management pack
- Intercompany account review and agreement between companies
- Reconcile balance sheets accounts to the nominal, including inter-company accounts
- Help with preparation of reporting pack with analysis of variances together with commentary
- Group company VAT return quarterly
- Assistance with management accounts activities for another group company based in Runcorn
- Assistance with yearend audit work and liaising with auditors

To be considered for this role you will need to be a strong communicator and a team player. Working to deadlines and prioritising work is an absolute must and being able to work closely with internal and external Stakeholders
