Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Computing Teacher to join our dynamic team at Ark Elvin Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Computing across Key Stages 3 to 5 (KS3-KS5), inspiring students to achieve their full potential in the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of all students.
Teach Computing to students across KS3, KS4, and KS5, ensuring a high-quality learning experience.
Develop and implement schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments that align with the national curriculum and examination board requirements.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback and support to students and parents.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices, resources, and strategies for effective teaching and learning.
Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and professional development opportunities.
Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extra-curricular activities and school events.
Person Specification:

Qualifications:

A degree in Computing, Computer Science, or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience:

Proven experience of teaching Computing at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
A track record of delivering outstanding results and progress for students.
Experience in using a range of teaching strategies and resources to engage and support diverse learners.
Skills and Attributes:

Strong subject knowledge and passion for Computing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
