Our client is looking for someone with a passion for paid media, particularly pay-per-click advertising.

You will be second in the digital team meaning you will work closely with and in support of the head of digital marketing and e-commerce as well as the wider marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing Strategy:

* Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and bookings.

* Coordinate with the marketing team to align online marketing activities with overall business goals.

* Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices.

E-Commerce Management:

* Oversee the e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly booking experience.

* Implement strategies to optimise the online sales funnel and increase conversion rates.

* Collaborate with the IT and product teams to enhance website functionality and performance.

Content Creation & Management:

* Develop and manage engaging content for digital platforms, including website, social media, email newsletters, and blogs.

* Work with the creative team to produce high-quality visuals and videos that resonate with target audience.

SEO & SEM:

* Implement and manage SEO and SEM strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive paid search traffic.

* Conduct keyword research and analyse web traffic to identify growth opportunities.

Social Media Management:

* Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand presence and engage with the audience.

* Monitor and respond to customer inquiries and feedback on social media platforms.

Email Marketing:

* Create and manage email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive repeat bookings.

* Segment email lists and personalise communication to increase engagement and conversion rates.

Analytics & Reporting:

* Use analytics tools to track, measure, and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns.

* Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimise marketing efforts and achieve business objectives.

Budget Management:

* Manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximising ROI.

* Monitor expenditures and optimise campaigns to stay within budget.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

* Lead and mentor junior digital marketing team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and product development, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing and e-commerce. Ideally 3 or more years' experience within paid media and pay-per-click advertising.

* Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns.

* Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.

* Proficient in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar.

* Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

* Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.

* Passion for the travel industry and staying current with industry trends.
