Working in purchase ledger, you will play a pivotal role in the business, forming long standing and highly valued relationships with our customers. You will be part of a friendly, established and experienced team who work with a 'whatever it takes' mentality, which is at the heart of everything we do.

Main Purpose of Role:

As a member of our finance team, you will be passionate, committed and determined, ideally with at least 2 years of experience within a similar role. You will be providing exceptional service to customers and build effective working relationships.

You will thrive working as part of a team but will also enjoy managing your own workload. As part of the team, you'll enjoy helping others. You will be reliable and punctual, striving to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

· Answering a high volume of incoming calls from supplies and internal staff / depots

· Statement reconciliations, investigate and correct discrepancies

· Input stock invoices and match to purchase orders/goods received notes

· Input credit notes

· Keeping supplier file maintenance up to date and setting up new supplier accounts

· Office based position in a relaxed open plan environment

· Manage shared email inbox

· Good IT skills, self motivated and excellent communication skills are essential

· Other ad-hoc duties
