Company Overview:

Join a dynamic and rapidly growing company specializing in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects within the quarry and construction industry. We are expanding our portfolio to include a diverse range of M&E projects and are looking for a motivated Project Manager to oversee turnkey projects from pre-construction design to on-site supervision and steel installation.

Job Description:

The M&E Project Manager will manage turnkey M&E projects from conception to completion, developing project plans with timelines, resources, and budgets. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. You will collaborate with design teams to meet design specifications, review and approve technical drawings and specifications, and identify and mitigate design phase risks.

Leading on-site teams and subcontractors, conducting regular site inspections for compliance and progress, and addressing issues and delays promptly are key responsibilities. You will coordinate and supervise steel structure installation, ensuring steel erection meets industry standards and project requirements. Additionally, overseeing installation and commissioning of wash plants, managing civil engineering works including drainage and foundations, maintaining communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members, preparing and presenting progress reports and financial forecasts, and facilitating meetings and site visits with clients and stakeholders are critical components of the role.

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have extensive site experience in M&E project management, a background in wash plant installations, steel erection, civils, and drainage, and Mechanical and Electrical qualifications. Proven on-site experience, NEBOSH certification, Approved Person (AP) status, and Temporary Works Coordinator qualification are preferred. Knowledge of construction and engineering principles, proficiency in project management software and tools, strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines are essential. A willingness to travel extensively to multiple sites across the country is required.

Educational Requirements:

A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is necessary. Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable.
