We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Buyer for our client in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry, located in the North London area. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar purchasing or supply chain role, have good systems experience, and excellent communication skills.

Description

Key responsibilities include:

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate procurement deals to ensure the highest value for the company.
Develop strong relationships with suppliers and manage their performance.
Collaborate cross-functionally to forecast and meet organisational needs.
Implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Maintain and update records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
Ensure all procurement activities adhere to industry and company standards.Profile

The successful candidate will have:

Experience in a purchasing or supply chain role.
Strong knowledge of the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to analyse market trends and apply insights to procurement strategies.
Proficiency in Excel and systems such as SAP.Job Offer

On offer to the candidate:

c.£35,000 plus package, including bonus, 25 days holiday, pension, private medical etc.
Weekly early finish on Fridays at 3pm.
A supportive and collaborative company culture.
Hybrid working - 3 days per week in office, 2 from home
