JOB TITLE - Indirect Buyer
Reference: 677 Location: East Yorkshire Type: Permanent Salary: Up to £39,000
Job Summary:
We are currently representing a role on behalf of our client based in the East Yorkshire region.
* If you are an ambitious, career driven procurement professional this role is the perfect opportunity to step into the Indirect procurement department of an industry leader and progress your career.
Main Duties:
* Issuing and managing tenders and RFQ’s,
* Reviewing supplier capability,
* Responsible for the renewal, development and implementation of new contracts,
* Agreeing and finalising terms and conditions of supply.
* Support indirect sourcing activities,
* Project management.
Person Specification:
* Ideally CIPS qualified or working towards.
* Proven procurement experience and basic understanding of contract law.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Ideally experience managing projects and knowledge of the tender process.
* Confident negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with external agents
