Power Platform Developer
6 Months initial contract with the possibility of going permanent
Mainly remote- Expectation is to be on site 1 day per week in Lincolnshire
£188.62 per day (Inside IR35)

My client, in the public service sector are looking for a Power Platform Developer with particular experience around SharePoint, MS Teams, M365 Business Apps, to join their fast-paced team on an initial 6 month contract which could lead to a permanent position.

The Developer will be responsible for the coding, development and configuration within a Microsoft Azure platform environment to build, test, deploy and manage applications. The candidate will transform technical requirements into effective systems, integrating and building software systems to enable and improve business outcomes. They will be the subject matter expert working with the larger Digital and Data Directorate.

The candidate will be required to have strong Office 365 technical stills and will work closely with customers for their specifications, analysing their content requirements and recommending solutions within a desired timeframe

The Innovation Developer will be responsible for documenting fixes, solutions, and requirements in a concise manor to aid knowledge transfer and corporate memory.

More details of responsibilities-

Configuring the business SharePoint online systems to specified business wide business requirements.
Manage permissions and migration activities from older sites and shared drives in to M365 solutions where appropriate.
Developing new web components using XML, .NET, SQL, C#, JavaScript, HTML and low code / no code systems
Designing, coding and implementing scalable applications
Extending M365 functionality using workflow, forms, web parts, Power Apps, MS Teams, M365 apps, and SharePoint
Testing and debugging code
Maintaining and updating SharePoint applications for the business
Analyse and optimise business and technical processes
Using appropriate software development kits (SDK's) and tooling
Using SharePoint framework development tools and libraries
Support teams through your knowledge of .Net, Power Platform, Web API and Microsoft capabilities and related technologies.
Analyse, investigate and resolve complex service queries.
Undertake analysis of business requirements to inform impact assessments, user cases, test scenarios, and use agile methodologies to maintain a strong focus on delivery priorities and swiftly respond to changing requirements
Provide technical input for more complex application development activities such as designing integrations with key platforms and systems, leading on the introduction of services, and proposing technical development procedures and standards.
Responsible for maintaining a handful of information systems used across the business
To design, build and test solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform to be used across the whole business by operational and or staff. Building in a dev/test environment and supporting the business with UAT before getting sign-off to transfer to live environment.
Support the deployment of Power Apps from 3rd parties/Digital Service.
To enable officers and staff across the business, including regionally and nationally, where applicable, within areas of responsibility, to use the solutions more effectively themselves, as and where required.
Support the continual development of the change management process to support an efficient and safe change model which meets the business needs.
Provide technical support as required by the business and analyse error trends aimed at reducing or minimising down time.Disclaimer:
