Our client is looking for a driven, ambitious, and successful Software Solutions Trainer to join their successful delivery team.

Responsibilities

You will:

* Deliver engaging and meaningful training to new clients on the software solutions.

* Validate new software features or solutions from a usability and robustness point of view.

* Use this validation to design training courses for the features, in the context of web content and broader digital transformation delivery.

* Write training materials both for e-Learning Courses, and for direct custom delivery to customers.

* Provide feedback to the Product Board on any recurring issues that customers might have.

* Provide additional revenues through content upload for customers when required.

* Be involved in Alpha and Beta testing of new releases

* Assist with frontline support as necessary especially around “how do I” issues.

* Act as an overflow with content related services/issues such as delivering strategy and upload.

Requirements

Our client would prefer candidates with 3+ years of commercial experience, however they would be willing to consider talented people with a minimum of 2 years.

The ideal candidate will:

Essential:

* Have experience in designing training courses for web application software; Have experience of training on Content Management Systems (CMS) at an enterprise level e.g. Joomla, Drupal, Sitecore, Umbraco (although our client would consider experience in Wordpress and similar)

* Have CMS experience

* Have experience of writing training materials for online courses, e-Learning, and for direct delivery to customers.

Other skills:

* Be an engaging and reliable software trainer.

* Ideally have a degree in a relevant discipline.

* Have a background in teaching people how to use web application software and preferably web content management systems.

* Be adept at designing training courses, creating appropriate training materials, and delivering them in the most.

* Be a strong team player.

* Have excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for best UX.

* Be someone who believes in everyone working together and have proven collaboration experience within a delivery team.

Desirable skills:

* Have an understanding of how websites work in general, i.e. why one would want to do a certain thing within the Content Management Platform

* Experience working within the social housing or NHS sectors

* Experience in validating new software features or solutions from a usability point of view.

* Have a solid understanding of Information Architecture techniques, especially within website and user interface design.

* Have experience working with Accessibility tools and testing frameworks

* Have some understanding of how good content enhances Search Engine Optimisation

* Have experience with ISO 9001 certified processes
