You will be working for a market-leading company within the defence sector where you will be the SME for all things data-related with the aim of getting the data in a position where it is ready to be migrated onto their new Dynamics 365 ERP system that they are implementing and will go live in April 2025.
You will be essential to the business, responsible for managing and maintaining high-quality master data and creating a positive data culture by drawing the data together, working with project teams and building out analytics. Through collaboration with various teams, you will establish data standards and governance processes, implementing controls to support efficient data management.
You will need to be proficient in data analysis, data profiling and cleansing techniques, with experience in data migrations, data integrations and data warehousing projects being a plus. The ability to work in a small team and with non-data SME's and business users will be essential to this role as one of the key focuses will be to improve the company's overall digital literacy and competency. You will empower the business to best utilise the data, enhancing capabilities and performance.
The business is moving to D365 ERP so experience with D365 BC / Navision / AX will be needed, as well as experience with Azure and Power BI. Whilst this isn't a management role, there will be the opportunity to move into a leadership position so any experience will be beneficial.
The role is hybrid with 2 - 3 days per week in the office in Salisbury, which has on-site parking. The working week is Mon - Fri with a 12:30pm finish on Friday. The business is shut for the Christmas period.
