Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Fitter
Starting rate of up to £20-24 per hour dependent on experience.
Overtime frequently available, paid additionally at time and a half.
Full equipped company van, fuel card, work tablet and mobile phone.
1 in 4 weeks on breakdown stand-by paid additionally. You shall earn an additional £100 for the week, with each call paying £45. If you are called out, and end up attending a breakdown, a minimum 2 hours will pay 1.5x rate.
23 days holiday plus the 8 bank holidays.
Get paid from door to door (start and finish work at home)
Access to in-house product training.
Workplace pension scheme. We are currently seeking a Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Fitter on behalf of our Client, an Automotive leading & growing contract hire commercial vehicle specialist based in the Chepstow area.
The successful Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £46,800 with OTE of circa £56,160 with working hours of 45 hours per week; flexibility required on working hours due to the nature of the role.
Our Client is looking for a Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Fitter to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.
Typical Duties of a Mobile HGV Technician for our client include, but are not limited to:
Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
Completion of MOT preparationRequirements of this Mobile HGV Technician vacancy:
Previous working experience within the role
Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Excellent mechanical knowledge
