Position Title: MIG/TIG Welder
• Location: Thatcham
• Salary: Between £15 - £18 per hour
• Term: Permanent

Job Summary:

We are working with a sheet metal fabrication specialist based in the Thatcham area. They are looking for a MIG/TIG welder to join their established team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding work to join metal components. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use various welding techniques to produce a variety of products.
• Work with a variety of materials including Mild Steel and Stainless Steel.
• Be able to work using their own initiative or as part of a team.
• Will be able to conduct a short on-site weld test.

Skills:

• Proficient in MIG & TIG welding techniques and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Familiarity with safety practices and procedures in a welding environment.
