Reeco is a growing company that serves many industries with RoboticEnd of Line Automation solutions both in the UK and overseas.

As the company evolves a need to recruit a multi skilled Mechanical engineer has been identified. As an engineer with proven skills and expertise in mechanical design, you will be working as part of a team engineers to deliver Robotic systems to project requirements.

Your mission will be to advise on design and carry out manufacture and assembly tasks to configure products to meet automation requirements.

Senior Mechanical Engineer Duties & Responsibilities:

* Development of new product solutions and improvements of existing product

* Mechanical and electrical installation of Robot cells to include base, fixed guarding and associated conveying.

* Identifying and resolving mechanical issues that arise during assembly. Initiating corrective actions to ensure project completion

* Support the project manager to engineer roller/belted conveying, end of arm tools etc to deliver bespoke systems

* Testing and Validation of all new development and improvements to ensure robust comprehensive solutions

* Working with the team to see an idea through from inception, design to fully validated and tested product

* Work with departmental heads in projects, programming and manufacturing to meet project deliverables.

* Working closely with design and development teams to address any malfunctions or inefficiencies post project.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Hold suitable engineering qualifications to NVQ or degree standard

* Experience with Lathe, Milling CNC machines desirable

* Possess several years' relevant experience

* Be innovative, creative and able to work at both the conceptual and detailed level

* Work effectively both individually and as part of a team

* Display leadership through personal example and be effective at problem solving

* Be a good communicator with good listening and presentation skills

* Carry a "can do" attitude and be self-motivated to achieve exceptional results

* Possess excellent time management and able to work to tight deadlines

* Have a passion for automation and takes pride in their work

Hours of work: Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm.

Lunchbreaks: 1:00-1:30pm Total contracted hours 42.5 per week. Work hours may vary, some site work can be requested therefore a flexibility to travel is required.
