Position: Mechanical Supervisor
Location: Acton
Salary: Circa £70k + Comprehensive Package

Role Purpose: As a Mechanical Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in organizing and coordinating on-site activities, leading teams of Mechanical Engineering professionals to ensure project success. Your responsibilities will include tracking daily site activities, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence, and developing team capacity while overcoming obstacles.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety Leadership: Ensure a safe workplace, competent personnel, and a culture of safe working practices.
Work Supervision: Oversee the delivery of activity/work packages and maintain daily activity logs.
Coordination: Collaborate with trade professionals to organize work areas and ensure smooth operations.
Materials Management: Liaise with sub-contractors for material orders and manage direct site staff.
Progress Updates: Attend regular site meetings to update management on progress.
Technical Support: Provide technical support to trade teams and ensure work areas are ready for handover.
Team Development: Foster team growth and development.Requirements:
Experience: Senior Trades qualification or equivalent with 5+ years of site experience, ideally in pharmaceutical, medical device, commercial, industrial, or data centre sectors.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of site activities, Mechanical, HVAC, Building Services, Utilities, Process Piping Systems, and the ability to interpret schematics and mechanical drawings.
Leadership: Proven track record as a Trade Leader with familiarity in materials ordering and lead times.
Skills: Excellent communication, strong interpersonal skills, commercial acumen, and a client-focused approach.
Attributes: Organized, influential, conscientious, decisive, action-oriented, team player, and attentive to detail.
