Look no further We are currently seeking a dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at a mainstream secondary school located in Greenwich. This is a full-time and long-term position, starting in September 2023 and lasting until the end of the academic year.

Requirements:

A university degree in any discipline
Previous child-based experience (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, volunteering)
A valid DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for working with young people and supporting their educational journeyResponsibilities:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the learning experience of our students. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects.
Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help.
Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Encouraging and motivating students to achieve their academic goals.
Assisting with classroom management and maintaining discipline.
Providing feedback and evaluating student progress.
