The Company:

We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder for a prominent company in the food industry, based in Cheshire. The successful candidate will specialise in dairy welding, utilising argon gas for high-precision welding tasks and performing pipe purging to ensure system integrity. This role is crucial for maintaining the high standards of our client's production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and other materials used in dairy processing equipment.
Utilize argon gas to achieve high-quality welds with precision and cleanliness.
Purge pipes and tubes to remove contaminants and ensure optimal weld quality.
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints for accurate welding.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of welding equipment.
Ensure all welds meet industry standards and adhere to safety regulations.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to support ongoing projects and repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to hygiene standards specific to the dairy industry.
Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues as they arise.Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience in TIG welding, preferably within the dairy or food processing industries.
Proficient in using argon gas for welding and performing pipe purging.
Strong understanding of welding techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Experience with stainless steel and other relevant materials.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
