Position: X-Ray Screener

Location: Slough

Hours: Monday to Friday (09:00 - 18:00 or 14:00 - 23:00)

Salary: Up to £29,000

We are seeking two experienced X-Ray Screeners to work in their busy London depot on two different shift patterns. As an X-Ray Screener you will be responsible for operating and conducting security checks of Cargo items being transported via air.

Your key responsibilities as an X-Ray Screener:

Operate X-Ray screening equipment
Examine items ready for export
Analyse X-Ray images to identify any potential threats
Conduct screening and security checks for prohibited items of cargo to be transported by air, in line with training and CAA regulations.
Recording and escalating any issues or concerns
Maintain a safe and secure work environment
Assisting in general warehouse duties
Utilise knowledge of airline codes, prefixes, common cargo abbreviations
Pallet screeningRequirements:

Previous experience in X-Ray screening
Previous experience in a time-sensitive environment is desirable
Certification in X-Ray screening is a plus
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a faced paced environment
Able to maintain focus and awareness in a moderate to loud level of noise environment
Must be physically fit due to manual handling
English proficiency (e.g., reading, writing, speaking, listening).
Excellent visual observation and identification ability.
Good communication skills are required, as you'll be liaising with a variety of people, and clarity in communication is essential, as problems could arise through inaccuracies.Essential Requirements:

FLT licence
